As one of the most hard-working parts of your engine, the cambelt (or timing belt) can eventually snap, causing serious engine damage or even engine failure. Your vehicle handbook will advise you as to the recommended replacement intervals (usually between 40,000 and 100,000 miles), but if you’re unsure, come to Rockfield Motor Services where we can inspect your cambelt and, if necessary, replace it.
